The Current Repair Techniques of Short-Gap EA/TEF

Abstract

The repair of an EA/TEF requires a broad armamentarium of pediatric surgical skills meeting the individual malformation. The primary goal comprises the ligation of the TEF and the primary reconstruction of the esophageal passage. The finesse of such a repair determines the long-term quality of life of our patients.
