Abstract

This small, bowl-shaped crater (Fig. 48, page 64) is located about 40 km north-northwest of Pretoria, in the southern portion of the Bushveld Complex. Driving from Onderste poort in the direction of the sprawling town of Hammanskraal, the crater becomes visible as a broad, low silhouette, long before it is reached, where the road ascends into a sweep ing curve near the town of Soshanguve.
