Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel bietet eine umfassende Darstellung der neoplastischen Erkrankungen der Nieren. Auf der Basis der WHO-Klassifikation wird zu den häufigen wie auch zu den seltenen Nierentumoren Stellung genommen, wobei außer der Morphologie auch die Epidemiologie und die Genetik zur Sprache kommen. Hervorgehoben wird die Differentialdiagnose der Tumoren, insbesondere unter Anwendung immunhistochemischer Marker. Makroskopie und Histologie der Tumoren werden durch repräsentatives Bildmaterial verdeutlicht.
