Abstract

Central European countries described in this report are Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland (Fig.4.1). Other regions like North Italy would also be a part to this group but the whole country shows mainly characteristics of the Mediterranean region. The Northern part of Germany and France also show features of the Atlantic region and the Southern part of France shows characteristics of the Mediterranean region. However, these countries are mainly characterised as Central countries and, owing to a lack of differentiated data it is not possible to subdivide them.
