This unit is not intended to be a “Guide for Authors” that can be found in any journal. Our main advice is: do not write the paper first in your own language and then translate it into English; instead, do it in English directly.
(This advice is valid for surgeons with a good English level. If this is not your case, bear in mind that although most people have serious difficulties thinking and writing clearly in their own language, the results of a well-translated paper are usually better than those of a poorly written paper that has been corrected).
