Kinder sind keine kleinen Erwachsenen, deshalb sind in Anamneseerhebung, Diagnostik, Indikationsstellung und operativer Behandlung von Gefäßveränderungen infolge der Kleinheit des Gefäßsystems und des noch wachsenden Organismus einige Besonderheiten zu beachten.
