Zusammenfassung
Die Computertomographie geht mit einer im Vergleich zu anderen diagnostischen Röntgenuntersuchungen höheren Strahlenexposition pro Untersuchung einher. Die CT stellt insgesamt den größten Anteil an ionisierender Strahlung in der medizinischen Anwendung, obwohl sie nur ca. 4% aller Röntgenuntersuchungen ausmacht.
