Zusammenfassung
Der akute Thoraxschmerzist ein häufiges Symptom und stellt ein großes medizinisches wie auch gesundheitsökonomisches Problem dar. Trotz der Häufigkeit des akuten Thoraxschmerzes bleibt die frühzeitige Triage in Notfallsituationen schwierig. Die Anamnese, die initialen Bluttests (kardiale Biomarker oder D-Dimere) und das EKG erlauben häufig keine konklusive Aussage über die Ätiologie der Beschwerden. Eine sichere Entlassung des Patienten ohne weitere Abklärung ist deshalb nur in seltenen Fällen möglich.
