Übergewicht ist einer der am weitesten verbreiteten Risikofaktoren der koronaren Herzkrankheit. In der Herz-CT übergewichtiger Patienten resultiert eine erhöhte Photonen-Absorption in einem niedrigen Signalzu-Rausch Verhältnis, welche die Bildqualität der Koronarien verschlechtert.
