Abstract
There is nothing like THE peel. There is a great variety of peels ranging from superficial to deep peels. Peels are not risk free. Especially deep peels might lead to unwanted effects as hypo- and hyperpigmentation. Therefore besides knowing how to perform the peel it is also important to know potential complications and how to avoid or treat them.
