Frequency Response Measurement with Non-Periodic Signals

Abstract

The Fourier analysis with non-periodic test signals can be applied to determine the non-parametric frequency response function of linear processes by first bringing the input and the output signal to the frequency domain and then determining the transfer function by an element-wise division of the former two.
