Abstract
Thymoma is a tumor originating from the epithelial cells of the thymus. Thymic tumors are the most commonly diagnosed tumors in the anterior mediastinum in adults, accounting for approximately 50% of anterior mediastinal tumors. Thymoma is usually an indolent disease with a potential of local invasion.
