Abstract

Eine wesentliche Eigenschaft des Immunsystems besteht in der Erkennung von Selbst und Nicht-Selbst, d.h. von körpereigen und körperfremd, sowie der Eliminierung letzterer. Hierfür haben sich im Laufe der Evolution Erkennungsstrukturen (Rezeptoren) entwickelt, die zellgebunden oder auch löslich vorliegen können. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt die wesentlichen Gruppen von Rezeptoren der angeborenen und erworbenen Immunität, mit besonderem Fokus auf Mustererkennungsrezeptoren, der Entstehung von Antikörper- und T-Zell-Rezeptoren, sowie der Bedeutung von MHC kodierten Peptidrezeptoren.
