Abstract

The previous chap. described agile software development as a set of principles and best practices that support a more flexible approach towards project management. The set of IT tools that are used needs to be able to deal with this kind of flexibility as well. Tools typically span software development, code version control system, test environment, project administration tools, and documentation tools. Which characteristics make these tools suitable for agile use?
