Abstract

Small bowel tumors represent a rare and diverse group of entities ranging from benign disease to aggressively metastatic. Early identification, diagnosis, and intervention for these lesions are often paramount to patient survival. This chapter discusses some of the most common tumors, addressing diagnostic workup and management, both surgical and nonsurgical as we practice it at our institution.
