Erkrankungen der oberen Atemwege und der Trachea führen häufig zur Einengung der großen Atemwege und somit zu akuten, lebensbedrohlichen Krankheitsbildern, die einer Notfalldiagnostik und -therapie bedürfen. Oft ist erst nach Stabilisierung des Zustands die weitere differenzierte Diagnostik und Behandlung möglich.
