Abstract
Penile inflammations caused by infections of the glans and foreskin are common pathological entities that occur in about 11% of male genitourinary clinics attendees. This group of pathologies, however, has a poor radiological relevance except in cases of severe inflammation with involvement of the corpora cavernosa or abscess formation (Pearle and Wendel 1993).
