Zusammenfassung
Anatomisch ist das Ohr des Menschen in äußeres Ohr, Mittelohr und Innenohr unterteilt. Zum äußeren Ohr gehören Ohrmuschel (Pinna) und äußerer Gehörgang (Meatus acusticus externus). Die Ohrmuschel besteht – mit Ausnahme des Ohrläppchens – aus Knorpeln. Sie enthält auch Muskelgewebe, das beim Menschen nur noch rudimentär ausgebildet ist und nicht mehr wie bei vielen Tieren durch Bewegung der Ohrmuschel der Schallortung dient.
