Abstract
After the recombination of hydrogen, the universe is transparent, i.e. the interaction between the massive component and the homogeneous (background) radiation is negligible for the overall picture. The production of additional radiation through the condensation of matter and the nuclear processes in the stars is negligible, even though it seems imposing.
