Abstract

The multidisciplinary approach to the management of pediatric neoplasia has resulted in dramatic improvements in outcome for children with cancer. The success of this approach demands close co-operation between specialists from several disciplines and this is best facilitated by good communication and the development of a clear mutual understanding of the nature of the work of these disciplines.
