Die Bausteine neo-institutionalistischer Organisationstheorie – Begriffe und Konzepte im Lauf der Zeit

Neo-Institutionalismus in der Erziehungswissenschaft

In den drei Schlüsseltexten von Meyer/ Rowan (1977), DiMaggio/ Powell (1983) und Weick (1976) wurden grundlegende Ideen, Begriffe und Konzepte neo-institutionalistischer Organisationsforschung entwickelt, die in der Folgezeit eine Vielzahl theoretischer wie auch empirischer Arbeiten anregten. Das Anliegen der folgenden Übersicht ist es, die zentralen Begriffe und Konzepte systematisch aufzuarbeiten und ihre Entwicklung über die Zeit im Sinne einer begriffsgeschichtlichen Rekonstruktion nachzuvollziehen. Ausgehend von den programmatischen Schlüsselbeiträgen zeigt sich im Rückblick auf drei Jahrzehnte, dass zentrale Begriffe und Konzepte eine semantische Präzisierung, Erweiterung oder auch Umdeutung erfahren haben, die eine im Verlauf der Zeit gewandelte Perspektive auf Organisationen zum Ausdruck bringen.
