Zusammenfassung
Aristoteles war Schüler in Platons Akademie. Er trat dieser im Jahr 367 v. Chr. im Alter von nur 17 Jahren bei und gehörte ihr zwanzig Jahre lang bis zum Tod Platons im Jahr 347 v. Chr. an. Es ist daher nur naheliegend, dass Aristoteles philosophisch nicht nur durch die Schriften Platons (s. Kap. II.4), sondern auch durch den persönlichen Umgang mit Platon und dessen erster Schülergeneration in der Akademie geprägt wurde.
