Zusammenfassung
Das akademische Feld, das sich explizit kritisch mit der Frage auseinandersetzt, welche Kulturen der Behinderung – im Sinne von behindernden Praktiken, Haltungen oder symbolischen Ordnungen – in Bildungseinrichtungen anzutreffen sind und was diese beeinflusst, bezeichnet sich als Disability Studies in Education (DSE) (Buchner 2018, 56). Als Teilgebiet der Disability Studies verstehen die DSE Bildung von Schüler*innen mit Behinderung zunächst als politisch verortetes Thema und erst sekundär als »technisches Problem« (Pfahl 2014; Slee/Corcoran/Best 2019). Die DSE haben eine noch relativ junge Geschichte (Connor/Gabel/Gallagher u. a. 2008) und sind im deutschen Sprachraum bislang wenig bekannt (Köbsell 2015).
