Zusammenfassung
Die erste Handelsakademie „Colegium oeconomicum“ wurde im Jahre 1763 auf dem slowakischen Territorium in der Stadt Senec, ungefähr zwanzig Kilometer von Bratislava entfernt, gegründet; sie existierte allerdings nur für kurze Zeit. Obwohl sich das wirtschaftliche, politische und kulturelle Leben während des ganzen 19. Jahrhunderts entscheidend entwickelte, gelang es nicht, ein einheitliches System slowakischer Schulen aller Stufen und Fachbereiche zu errichten.
