Abstract
In the prior sections, we have provided an introduction to basic copper metabolism and discussed disease diagnosis and treatment of Wilson disease. However, there are special circumstances where there is more expert opinion on management of patients than evidence for how best to practice. In the following section, we consider some special circumstances and provide some guidance while recognizing that these are areas for future study.
