Neuroradiological Imaging of Skin Diseases and Related Conditions

Abstract

There are many types of cutaneous malignant neoplasms and associated conditions that can involve the head and neck regions. This chapter reviews the characteristic clinicopathological and imaging findings of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, cutaneous lymphomas, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, Kaposi sarcoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, microcystic adnexal carcinoma, sebaceous carcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, angiosarcoma, and metastases.
