Abstract

As evident from detailed field survey incorporating multidimensional wings of medical tourism industry, personal interviews, experts’ opinion, interaction with the stakeholders, Kolkata medical tourism industry is in a flourishing stage. To utilise full potentialities of this flourishing industry, it is imperative to take proactive role considering present status and prospects of this spatial phenomenon. This chapter recommends method to map potential target market, product diversification and draws attention to improve marketization and service quality to enhance overall medical tourism experience at the destination Kolkata following SWOT-AHP enabled evaluation as discussed in previous chapter.
