Abstract

This chapter presents the functions that are available in GPenSIM for finding the structural invariants (e.g., siphons, traps, place invariants (P-invariants), and transition invariants (T-invariants). Structural invariants (aka net invariants) are the structural properties of a Petri net that depend only on the static (topological) structure; structural invariants are independent of the Petri net’s markings.
