    The objective of this exposition is only to show how to combine different perspectives . The reader is referred to the original Saaty and Mu (1997) ‘s reference if interested in the specific analysis of this hostage situation .

    The reader may remember that the normalization values are obtained by adding all the values in a given column and dividing each value by the total sum. For example, B Normal for the Entebbe School alternative (0.723)—in the Benefits hierarchy in Table 9.2—was obtained by adding all the values in the previous column (0.013 + 0.058 + 0.001 + 0.008) and next dividing the Entebbe School aggregated value (0.058) by this sum.
