Abstract
Chaotic, fractional, and complex dynamics constitute fields of research that, as a whole, share many ideas and methods to attack numerous problems of either fundamental or applied nature. This introductory chapter presents a brief overview of the contributions to this book across the above-mentioned areas. The content of the book covers a wide range of topics, from research on fundamental problems to practical applications, providing new insights and broad perspectives.
