Abstract
Tarlov cysts are collections of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) between layers of the nerve root sheath near the dorsal root ganglion. They may be incidentally found on PET/MR imaging in a patient undergoing cancer-related work up. These cysts will not take up FDG on PET imaging and have characteristic MRI findings confirming it as a benign entity.
