Abstract
A.S, F 15 YO, arrived a week from multiple shrapnel to her abdomen and lower extremities.
Prior to her arrival, she had a below-the-knee amputation on the right leg, and explorative laparotomy was done. Computed tomographic angiogram revealed a huge arteriovenous fistula involving her femoral vessels. We categorized her as a right heart failure due to a large arteriovenous fistula. Covered stent was deployed in the common femoral artery, sealing the vessel’s communication.
Post procedure, there was an immediate clinical improvement in her general condition.
