Abstract
To perform diagnostic or interventional angiography, the operator must be adept at navigating through vasculature. This requires knowledge of anatomy, practice, and familiarity with behavior of different devices. The operator also must be aware of tips and tricks for particular situations, e.g., difficult vasculature. Knowledge of certain catheters being advantageous in specific situations is also required. Additionally, judicious pre-planning, fluoroscopy in conjunction with modalities such as road mapping, all enable successful performance of procedures.
