Abstract
In this chapter, we examine the networking capabilities of Csound. Through the use of Open Sound Control, the network opcodes, and/or the server, users can interact with external software, as well as with distributed processes in separate machines. The chapter explores these ideas, introducing key concepts and providing some examples of applications.
