Themes of Personality: Profiling a Political Leader

Abstract

Through the media, we are recurrently exposed to psychological profiles of political leaders. In this chapter, I illustrate the way in which computational personality may be applied to the profiling of political leaders. Analyzing a single speech given by a former Egyptian president, I show how textual motifs can be extracted from the text and teach us about the personality of the leader.
