Abstract
Scientists are curious people. We’re always asking questions and then trying to figure out ways to answer them. This is particularly tricky with molecular biology. There’s no direct way to see individual molecules, at least in atomic detail, so we’re forced to use a bunch of specialized methods that probe different aspects of the structure. Then, from this information, we can build up an understanding of the molecule and create images of the molecule that are consistent with the data.
