Abstract

The SNOMED CT Concept Model is the set of rules that governs how concepts are permitted to be modeled using relationships to other concepts. SNOMED CT concepts are organised in hierarchies and this chapter describes these hierarchies and what attributes and values can apply to each type of concept.
