Notes

  1. 1.

We note that we use emission-line luminosities and X-ray luminosities as a tracer of AGN bolometric luminosity in Chaps. 4 and 6, respectively. These tracers are discussed in Sects. 1.2.2–1.2.4.

  2. 2.

We note that in Chap. 4 we convert the SFR calibration of Kennicutt (1998) from a Salpeter IMF to a Chabrier IMF by dividing by a factor of 1.7 (Chabrier 2003).
