Abstract

Beginning with the methods used by some well-known writers, Chap. 3 discusses classic outline use, the IMRaD model of presenting reports of clinical research, and first-person writing. There are tips on making writing readable and vigorous, how to write more efficiently, and the time when a writer may be gifted with a creative thought about the work in progress. This chapter also discusses the impact factor and how it may influence where writers submit their best papers.
