Abstract

The study of the surface behavior of high area solids can be carried out using extensions of the fundamental measurement methods developed for studies of low area single crystal surfaces. Among the most widely used methods in single crystal studies is temperature-programmed desorption (TPD), often called thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS).
