Abstract

Quality photographs of snakes are very important in order to achieve a comprehensive photographic documentation of the subjects observed. However, it is not easy to get great shots with subjects that are elusive and often very fast. Here are some tips for keeping snakes under control while being photographed, acting on the aperture and exposure in order to govern the maximum depth of field.

Photography is the biggest compromise in history.
