Abstract

Identification problem in a multiple access channel is being studied. Such problem arises, for example, in analysis of monitoring systems using the surface acoustic wave (SAW) radio tag (label). The SAW radio tags are the passive wireless units which can be used in different application with extreme environment factors (high temperature, radiation, etc). The mathematical model of radio tag is assumed to be a linear time-invariant filter. A receiver (reader) observes the sum of the K linear filters responses to an interrogation signal. A combination of K filters are chosen arbitrary from the known set of M known filters, K < < M. Receiver determines the filter combination according to the sum response received. The problem of the design of the radio label impulse responses under some constraints is studied.
