Abstract

In this thesis, the vibrational properties of high-mobility semiconductor/high-\(\kappa \) dielectric interfaces, as well as those of 2D nanolattices have been investigated by means of a first-principles approach.

To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science.
