Abstract
The quick-view table in this chapter provides easy access to basic descriptive information on each measure of violence that was reviewed. The goal is to provide preliminary information and to assist the practitioner in deciding whether additional information about a particular measure would prove fruitful. Table entries are organized alphabetically and provide the name of the measure, the purpose for which the measures was developed, and the target population. The table also provides information on the method of assessment, the amount of time involved, and the page number where additional information is available. The table is followed by the individual review for each of the 55 measures deemed relevant to the assessment of violence.
