Abstract

The critical challenge in adopting technologies to build the digital heart center is adopting the correct framework to ensure the technology is serving a useful function to solve the clinical and operational problems of a cardiology practice. This process starts with clearly defining the problems to solve, understanding the technologies available to solve the problems identified, and identifying regulatory, implementation, and monitoring challenges involved in bringing a digital heart center to life. This chapter reviews this framework with the practical considerations of adopting new technologies in a clinical cardiology practice.
