Abstract

The chapter includes brief characteristics of SARS and MERS, basing on literature and a detailed description of COVID-19, basing primarily on the author’s own experience, studying numerous lethal cases in Saint-Petersburg using bright spectrum of morphological methods. Concept of different pathogenic variants is presented. The text is illustrated by ten original photos.
