Digitization in Dentistry

Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are the science of creating a virtual environment for the assessment of various anatomical areas of the body for diagnosis, treatment planning and training. The chapter will provide an overview of these concepts and their use in the field of dentistry in both clinical application and education and training.
