    The study’s focus is based on the results of the project Industrie 4.0—International Benchmark, Future Options and Recommendations for Production Research (INBENZHAP), which was also funded by the BMWi. Among other things, this project recommended that German businesses should cooperate with international partners and that Germany should play a leading role in the field of standardisation.
