Abstract
When disaster strikes, the public expects and deserves a coordinated, safe and productive response. Thankfully, disasters are a relatively rare phenomena. Simulation, in a variety of forms, therefore plays an important role in disaster preparedness allowing health care providers, public safety officers and even regular citizens tools with which to hone their skills and prepare for the events we all hope will never occur.
