Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is the third coronavirus infection after severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). The number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 worldwide crossed the 3.5 million and deaths crossed 245 thousand on May 3, 2020; the case fatality rate across 215 countries and territories was 6.9% [1, 2].
